
Hinge announces the launch of its new website at www.pivotalbrands.com. Hinge Partner Aaron Taylor explains that “Hinge’s prior website, built entirely in Flash, posed usability and search engine optimization problems. By creating our new site with standards-compliant Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), we are able to provide a more flexible and accessible experience for our clients. We’ve been extolling the virtues of web standards to our customers for years, and it was time to bring our own website into line.”
The updated site also features new content and a fresh new look that better communicates Hinge’s value to its customers. In addition, the revamped site offers two new features designed to strengthen client and community relationships.
The first new feature, called “The Joint”, is a client-focused platfform that will enhance the client experience. Clients will have 24-hour access to critical files, style guides and other brand assets through their online account. “By putting these resources online, it’s our hope that we’ll increase our customer value and satisfaction,” says Taylor.
In addition to The Joint, the new Hinge website steps into the new media arena with a blog focused on professional services branding. The blog, called “Hingesights”, will highlight current events and industry trends as it relates to marketing a professional service.
